Project Overview
TT GREEN, InnoBlock's ESG reporting solution, streamlines data gathering, synthesis, and documentation.
Starting from concept, I designed the entire system, transforming manual processes into standardized reporting frameworks that facilitate stakeholder collaboration and ensure accurate, comparable ESG data.
How might we create a intuitive platform that simplifies ESG reporting, data management for all stakeholders?
CHALLENGES
Manual ESG data entry is time-consuming, error-prone, high labor costs, and relies on fragmented data.
The complexity of supply chains makes obtaining accurate and comprehensive data a resource-intensive challenge.
Different calculation methods and metrics for carbon footprint across various sources and locations make achieving accuracy difficult.
With so many ESG reporting standards, it's difficult to know which one to use and how to comply.
KEY DESIGN ACHIEVEMENTS
Designed a unified, cloud-based data repository to merge ESG data from multiple departments. This eliminates data fragmentation, ensures data consistency, and reduces input errors.
An ESG report editor powered by an AI language model simplifies the reporting process. This feature automates the extraction of qualitative data from the repository, assists in writing qualitative content, and guides users through required standards, resulting in more accurate and efficient reports.
Designed the UI/UX for visualizing blockchain data and user activity within TT GREEN's system, creating a user-friendly interface for administrators to monitor and audit all changes.
Created a design system with a style guide and a component library for a more efficient design and development process, ensuring consistency.
Designed a role-based access control (RBAC) system to manage user permissions and data security, including the administrator platform.
Interactive dashboards provide real-time insights into key ESG metrics, enabling users to track progress, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
OUTCOME & IMPACT
Streamlined data handling and communication reduced time spent on ESG data management by 42%, boosting productivity.

It consolidates and automates quantifiable data, intuitivly guiding users every step of the way, from defining their initial scope to managing carbon credit offsets.
Meanwhile, a powerful backend portal, including an AWS-powered master database, silently handles data management, transactions, and audit logging, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Building this platform from the ground up was both a demanding and rewarding experience. I effectively navigated the complexities of integrating various API-driven data, translating business requirements, and addressing compliance needs. Additionally, I developed a design system for the platform that included extensive features.
My work involved bridging the gap between end-users and stakeholders. This project significantly enhanced my skills in stakeholder management, designing data and logic-heavy products, and delivering a comprehensive, user-friendly solution in a challenging environment.
